Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cast Control - Miracast to TV application (the "Application")
created by Krishnaprasanth ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our").
This service is provided "AS IS".
1. Information We Process
The Application is a local screen-casting utility. Most casting operations run on your device and local network.
The Application may process the following categories of information:
- Device and session data: device model, Android version, app version, session state, codec and transport diagnostics.
- Network discovery data: nearby display discovery details (for example Wi-Fi Direct peer metadata needed for connection flow).
- Casting configuration: selected resolution, frame rate, bitrate, latency mode, transport mode, and other local settings.
- Purchase entitlement state: ad-removal and premium entitlement status from Google Play Billing, including subscription status and renewal events (we do not receive payment card details).
- Bug reports and feedback: if you choose to submit a bug report or feedback using the in-app form, the submission includes the message you write, your email address (if provided), device model, Android version, app version, current session state, and a short log of recent app events. Submission is entirely optional and initiated only by you.
- Anonymous usage analytics and crash reports (opt-in only): if you choose to enable analytics during onboarding or in Settings → Privacy, we collect anonymous data about how you interact with the app (such as which features you use, session events, and cast quality settings) and non-identifying crash and error reports. This data contains no personal information, no screen content, no precise location, and no advertising identifiers. Collection is off by default and only enabled with your explicit consent.
2. Permissions and Why They Are Needed
- Nearby devices / location-related access (Android-dependent): used to discover compatible displays.
- Screen capture permission: required only when you start casting.
- Audio capture permission: used to include system audio when supported by your device and receiver.
3. How We Use Data
- Discover nearby displays and establish casting sessions.
- Apply your selected quality and transport settings.
- Show diagnostics and session stats in the app UI.
- Validate and restore paid feature entitlements through Google Play Billing.
- Improve app reliability through local diagnostics and user-reported issues.
4. Local Processing and Storage
Cast Control - Miracast to TV performs core casting and session handling locally on your device.
App preferences and local session-related state are stored on-device.
When you opt in to analytics, anonymous usage and crash data is transmitted to Firebase (Google LLC) servers as described in Section 5.
5. Network and Service Providers
The Application may communicate with:
- Google Play Billing for purchase flow and entitlement restoration.
Google Privacy Policy
- Local network devices (such as casting receivers) required for casting setup and streaming.
- Our feedback service receives the data described above only when you explicitly submit a bug report or feedback via the in-app form. No data is sent automatically.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) used to deliver in-app ads for ad-supported access.
How Google uses data in AdMob
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) used to collect anonymous usage data when you have opted in. Data is processed under Google's privacy terms.
Firebase Privacy Information
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) used to collect non-identifying crash and error reports when you have opted in, to help us diagnose and fix issues faster.

6. Advertising
If you use an ad-supported experience, ads may be served through Google AdMob.
AdMob may use device identifiers (including advertising identifiers), approximate location signals,
and app interaction data to deliver, measure, and improve ads.
You can manage ad personalization in your Google account and device privacy settings.
You can stop ad delivery in this app by purchasing ad removal where offered.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with providers needed for app operation
(for example Google Play Billing and Google AdMob).
8. Retention and Deletion
- Local app data: remove by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
- Purchase records: handled by Google Play.
- Support data: retained only as needed for support and legal compliance.
- Analytics and crash data: if you disable analytics in Settings → Privacy, collection stops immediately and locally stored analytics data on your device is cleared. Data already transmitted to Firebase servers is retained according to Google's standard retention periods — up to 14 months for Firebase Analytics event data and 90 days for Crashlytics crash reports — after which Google deletes it automatically. To request earlier deletion of your data, contact us at neuracircuitdev@gmail.com and we will submit a deletion request through the Firebase console on your behalf.
9. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
